New seating area at amphitheater

The Friends of Mirror Lake have undertaken our biggest project to date, a new amphitheater. Not just any ordinary amphitheater, but one made of natural sandstone seating set into the hill. Careful planning has gone into the design to keep it looking like a natural part of the Wisconsin Dells area. Nicholas Solutions of Madison is the contractor and plan designer.  The seating is natural sandstone rock with stone stairs and soft lighting. The funding is a collaboration between the Friends and the State. The stage will be improved as funds become available. Our main fundraiser in the park is from firewood sales. Please remember that when you buy firewood from the Friends at the office or campground host sites the profits stay in the park to improve the functionality and beauty of the park. Stop by and check out the seating area which is nearing completion. We are accepting donations at this time to help complete the plan.
